I've not seen the ldap backed lts.conf in operation (but there was meant to be a way to do it with LTSP 3), but I have seen dhcpd backed on ldap. Google for 'dhcp ldap', and you should find the patches. I've not deployed it personally, but intend to do so soon. Andrew Bartlett
