Hi. This is on the ltsp-4.1b1 document: " Local CD-Rom and Floppy support. Using Supermount and Samba on the client, and the auto-mounter on the server, we can now make the CD-Rom and floppy drives available to the user."
I wonder if local usb devices are or will be supported. I'm thinking of memory-pens, cellphones and digital cameras wich have a usb (usb mass storage) interface. Don't take this as an request to add support, I'm just clearing if ltsp offers this right now or not. I'm implementing the thin client model in a cyber-cafe and at this time I was planning to offer the "usb-device" service at the balcony (btw, what's the english word for the place were the employees are? "balcony", "reception", ...?) where the employee wold download/upload the usb-device contents to a network folder.. but people seem to like plugging in their device in their station... (they used to do that when it was a M$ environment) And, btw, if someone has experience with cyber-cafe's, is this "download/upload" process payed or free?
