Stan, As noted, you can create a boot floppy. However, the beauty of LTSP is minimizing the workstation to its bare minimum. (no local storage) You do not have to burn PROMs. You can buy them ready to go at disklessworkstations.com or most NICs these days come with PXE which is supported by LTSP "out of the box".
