Hi everyone, I've been unsuccesfully trying to get the backgroundprogram feature of gdm in gdm.conf to run on an ltsp system.
It works fine on a basic RH9 system. However, I can't get any background programs to execute on the ltsp system even xeyes. Specifically the backgroundprogram option is intended to allow you to run a screen painter on the login screen. I'm trying to get it to run a program which presents some info which is useful in our environment. The program works fine but I can't get it to run at the login screen. Any ideas, help ....... ?
