Hey everyone...
This may not be the place for this problem but if anyone can offer an opinion it
would be most appreciated...

So here's a strange problem I'm trying to resolve on an LTSP version 4
system. I have Firefox installed as a local app on the workstations. Browsing is just
terrific since the workstations all have 128m-256m local mem and celeron III 500mhz+
procs.

I have compiled rlpr using the ltsp build env and it's all working fine from the
comand line, both color and b/w. Now with Firefox I have tried printing with the
rlpr command line in the properties dialog of Firefox and it always works just fine if
you choose greyscale printing, either single pages or the entire set. If you choose
color however a spool file is created but I get no output. I had the same results
using lpr-cups to print from the workstation. Now what is strange is if you for example
print pages 2-4 with color, the job will output fine. If I output page one in color
to a postscript file and then use lpr-cups or rlpr to output the file, the job
one again prints correctly in color. And to add to the confusion if you choose a page
with frames on it, leave "print each frame separately" checked, the printer will
output the first frame ONLY in color, and nothing else.

I guess I'll tell the users that the first page only prints in grayscale;-) My
help-desk
guy will love that:->

Thanks,
Bill Stotts
