Hi, I have had success using lpr-cups from the workstation to send the jobs back to the server for printing. We do this from a local copy of Firefox running on the workstation. Downside is we don't end up with the "nice" kprinter dialog for the users to use. I am just about to roll out the production servers over the next month...hopefully the users can be trained on howto manage this method...:-)
I was able to just use copies of the lpr-cups binary and libs from White Box Linux (based on RedHat ES3) on LTSP version 4.
