Hi evan.

Yes the links are there!
i have setup NIS using the instructions at
http://www.usenix.org/publications/library/proceedings/als00/2000papers/papers/full_papers/mcquillan/mcquillan_html/

and ssh according the instructions at
http://ltsp.org/ltsp-4.html#localapps

Am i missing something?
My clients are still giving problems as follows

[EMAIL PROTECTED] i386]$ ssh rajeshsg uptime
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
Permission denied, please try again.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
Permission denied, please try again.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password:
Permission denied (publickey,password,keyboard-interactive).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] i386]$

and I was getting this error before i again genrated ssh keys using
ssh-keygen at server.

Lib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to: No such user 502.
>
>** CRITICAL **: setup_ctrlsocket(): Failed to assign
>/tmp/xmms_somebody.0 to a socket (Error: Permission denied)

Is ther anything else except NIS and ssh which is missing.
Please suggest.
