Hi guys, I'm kind of stuck. I'm uaing a D-Link 530TX+ REV E1 network card. I got the etherboot rom to work, and I'm now trying to get my DHCP file to load the correct value. I'm not quite sure what the NIC=XX value should be. I tried "dfe538" and "rtl8139" and neither one would low. Where do I find this value?
If I remember correctly the 530TX+ is an odd ball NIC only sold in Canada (maybe else where, but not the US) and was a real problem to get working under linux. It uses a different chip then the common 530TX which uses an rtl8139.
Was a while ago however, I could be mistaking it for a different NIC.
A Gilmore
