You need to configure syslog to allow messages from other hosts to appear in your server's syslog. This message means you didn't do that yet (though it's no problem, just a non-fatal warning that you won't be told about client errors in the server syslog). Usually you can allow remote logging by appending "-r" to the syslog's command line. Where exactly to configure depends on which distribution you use. hth, Anselm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBwDbrRGDyvz+XrnkRAiJEAJ0aZMGP8r+OrqBeCvwy4psX7W9b0gCeI1ey axBnvW7mD8BIgBNqkWnWZac= =fnGL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
