Hi list,

if this is of any help at all...

- I've experienced the exact same screen trouble  on TFT screens using SuSE9.1 
and SuSE9.2 - with applications written in JAVA... An example is ZEND's php 
development system. Now and then this application will behave just like 
described - when doing so I close down the app and restart it. This often 
(but not always) remedies the problem.
- I've not been able to notice any consistency as to what will cause this 
irritating effect.
