This doesn't have to do specifically with LTSP, but Im sure LTSP users regularly run into this issue, so Ill ask anyway.

Even with a umask of 0002 set in either ~/.bashrc or /etc/profile openoffice or any X application for that matter will still make files with a different umask (0022 in my case on a vanilla debian sarge). I got around this by setting the umask in ~/.gnomerc but this is a per user workaround.

How can I set the umask for openoffice and other GUI applications system wide?
