That's interesting, I have two nearly identical LTSP installations running on identical server hardware and SuSE 9.1. The clients are different though, one installation uses old IBM Pentium 166's while the other uses Compaq T5500s. The T5500 installation seems to be much faster than the Pentium 166 installation. The Pentium 166 installation uses LTSP-4.0 and the T5500 uses LTSP-4.1. I'd be happy to run experiments or recover information from the systems for if anyone needs comparison data. -jason mielke
