Many many thanks for the development of LTSP.
It would be great if one more feature is added - LTSP Clients Internet Access Control through Gateway and DNS. In case the Gateway and Domain-Name-Servers are configured in the dhcpd.conf file, it is working fine till the Shell Prompt. I can ping the Gateway and Domain-Name-Servers. But, the moment the X Window is loaded, I am not able to ping the Gateway and Domain-Name-Servers any more. Also, in the Shell Prompt (Before X-Window) it shows the IP address of the Workstation (dhcpd.conf). But, the moment the X-Window is loaded, it shows the IP address of the LTSP Server.
I have a LTSP Server and a separate Internet Server.
I want to give Internet access to some LTSP CLients based on their NIC/MAC address. Please give a solution to do this using Gateway and Domain-Name-Servers.
