Perhaps create a rc.script with the commands you need to set up bonding (i.e. rc.bonding) then add a section to rc.sysinit (in the client tree /opt/ltsp*/i386/etc/) to run the script.

Follow what is already in there for rc.localdev and parse for a BONDING = Y setting in lts.conf so you can turn it on and off as needed.

Just be aware that this section will get wiped if you update LTSP... unless you convince Jim to add it to LTSP. ;-)
