I have been using TightVNC to remotely administer my Linux Terminal Server. It has been fine up until either another admin closed the VNC session incorrectly or the VNC Session crashed. When I try to connect now all I get is a "BLACK" desktop with an "X" for a cursor.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem? I have stopped and started the VNCSERVER service, rebooted the Server and I still get the same BLACK desktop with the X as a cursor. I have not found anything on the Internet that speaks to this issue. If anyone could help I would be very greatfull!! Does this require a newer LTSP than 4.1? Yes, it requires 4.1.1. 'U' wasn't supported prior to that.
