Doug was right, LTSP has nothing to do with it for what you're doing. You just need to setup LDAP authentication for all services (like 'login') on your server, and then the graphical login program (GDM/KDM/XDM) will use it when people login via LTSP clients.

In other words, this isn't really the right mailing list for what you're asking. Just use the LDAP documentation for your Linux distro to set up LDAP authentication and you should be all set.
