Hi everyone,

We have been doing testing with ipsec for some time and so far it looks
quite promising. Installing openswan using LBE is a bit tricky and there
are still some issues there, but it can be done. We have also done a
MueKow type test installation running Debian Sarge and there Openswan runs
really nicely. My current impression is that ipsec load is easier both on
the client and on the server than NX. Another good thing here is that all
the traffic using the ipsec interface gets encrypted automatically with no
changes to other software.

So far the test setups have included quite a bit of configuration
hardcoding, but we are working on getting the configuration done through
lts.conf.
