Hi
I try to configure a USB scanner HP 5300c plugged on a workstation, I
installed ltsp_sane-1.0.5-i386, the WS is booting a 2.4.26 kernel.
When I plug the scanner, I get:
hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-2, assigned address 3
usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0x3f0/0x701) is not claimed by any driver
In lsmod, I get usb-uhci unused, scanner unused, and usbcore used by
hid, usbmouse, usb-uhci and scanner.
sane-find-scanner finds no USB scanner.
This scanner is fully useable when plugged on the server (Ubuntu, kernel
2.6.10-5-686), why is it not the same when plugged on a WS? I had
problems with 2.6 kernel on WS, I prefer to keep 2.4.
Somebody can help?
How can I make this scanner recognized by the WS?
