Hello,

i have a kernel-image, that works perfectly with NBI-tag as bootrom-enabled
kernel via tftp.

Now i need to implement some PXE-clients. So i changed dhcp slightly to fit
this need and it works, the kernel boots.

Unfortunately, i get "kernel panic not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs
on unknown-block(..." everytime i try it with different flags. The block
differs with different options.

I tried:
1. WITHOUT append, only the kernel
2. ip=dhcp
3. nfsroot=192.168.0.1:/ltsp/i386
4. init=/dev/nfs

but everytime i get the missing root-error?!
Because this kernel works NBI-tagged, i don't believe, that it's a question of
kernel-compiling?

So any ideas? Or example-"append"-lines without initrd?

Oh yes, i forgot to mention it: I DON'T want an initrd-image to be used! The
NBI-kernel works without, too, obviously!

Kind regards, Qeldroma
