Greetings All,

First of all let me thank everyone that has given me such great assistance and information while trying to get the feel for LTSP. It's a GREAT project that has wonderful potential.

As for the XDMCP, I have been able to get it running, but am still seeing that it is not enabled, but is running.

I have a Fedora 4 server set up and have now also installed the Xvnc scripts from "yum" and am trying to get my xdmcp and Xvnc working. I do have the FreeNX working since my last efforts though.

Cheers,
Lonnie

Lonnie,

the 'enabled = no' problem is a bug in ltspcfg.

But, the 'Running = no' is something that needs to be dealt with on your system.

Chances are, you need to edit your gdm.conf file and change 'Enabled=yes' in the '[xdmcp]' section.
ltspcfg should be able to do that for you, but apparently, it didn't.

as for the NX problem, I don't have a clue.
