when i first set up my servers i seemed to have used up all my leases.like i8n dhcpd.leases...so there were none to offer..in ubuntu breezy
But my client gets an IP and hostname, so I don't think the problem is in dhcp, do you agree? When booting a client, I find DHCPDISCOVER, DHCPOFFER, DHCPREQUEST and DHCPACK in /var/log/daemon.log, then tftpd, and then again DHCPDISCOVER, DHCPOFFER, DHCPREQUEST and DHCPACK for the same client 5 seconds later. And then /opt/ltsp-4.2 mount. I found dhclient.leases and dhcpd.leases in /var/lib/dhcp3, but they are empty (even when my client is running) , is it normal? -- DenisG Ne jetez pas vos vieux PC : http://www.recyclinux.com Site perso : http://www.denisg.net ------------------------------------------------------- All the advantages of Linux Managed Hosting--Without the Cost and Risk!
