I'm trying to get KDM to work on our servers, such that when users connects to this particular server, they will get KDM as the login manager.
It works fine if I use GDM, but for various reasons I need XDM or KDM. When ever I use KDM, the server does show up in the chooser (i've tested using both the GDM and KDM chooser on the LTSP boot server), but when ever I choose this particular server, I get the good old fashioned gray screen of death (related to X), and a fter a while it just goes back to the chooser. Does anyone have a clue about what on earth is going on here, or any possible reasons for why KDM will not work, when GDM works fine? /daleif ``You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.
