My LTSP system works perfectly. I usually boot all thin-clients using the 1st display to get a kdm login window, the 2nd for a shell, both accessible by ctrl+alt+F1 and ctrl+alt+F2.
I need one more X window running locally on the thin client.
I usually run my X session from a minimal shell accessible by ctrl+alt+F2 doing: /usr/X11R6/bin/Xorg -ac :1
I need to run Xorg automatically everytime I boot a thin-client as I said before.
It's important for me to get an X session as described above, because another startx (script) session is not good for me expecially because it is not a "blank" (no login) X session.
My OS is Gentoo Linux 2006.1
Bye!
Flavio
