Peter- Thanks for the link, very interesting; I didn't know about that tool. At first glance, putting esd support seems to make sense, but I wonder if putting SDL support would be better? That way, flash could run on any platform supported by SDL, including esd. Looking at the debian packages, there are SDL packages for arts, esd, nas, etc.
