I run several Dell OptiPlex GX110 systems with LTSP 4.2 update 4 with PXE (and previously universal Etherboot floppies). I just have to set X_VIDEORAM = 8192 to get X to start. IIRC, my BIOS is newer---may be A08? Otherwise, everything has been fine except sometimes Firefox crashes X, and reducing Firefox's memory usage seems to help. The GX110 are small and make nice terminals since the local utilities company gave us so many for free.
