Hi List, A couple of times I've run into this problem... The server is connected to a modern fancy switch using 1000Mbit. This switch now connects to other switches, all 100Mbit.
When booting the clients, I get... NFS Server Not Responding, still trying... NFS Server Not Responding, still trying... NFS Server OK - and so it goes on...until suddenly the client is ok and finishes booting. - henceforth there is no problem. All clients experience this behaviour. If I connect the server to the 100Mbit switch, thus bypassing the fancy 1000Mbit box, I never see the problem. Of course, this is not an LTSP problem, it's a switch/negotiating problem or...? But then again, I don't know anywhere better to ask :-) -- ------------------------------ Med venlig hilsen/Best regards Verner Kjærsgaard ------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
