I just wanted to compile the LBE with SuSE 10.2 (same problem with 10.0). The problem is that SuSe comes with gcc > 3.4, in case of 10.2 with gcc 4.1,in case of 10.0 also with gcc 4.1. Building, in fact just fetching, with SuSE ends in an error message telling that LBE only runs with gcc between 3.2 and 3.4. Is there a way to awoid this error? Or have I just to install another distro only to compile LBE?
