pulseaudio can forward sound to an esd client (standard ltsp sound
server), it just need to be configured correctly. There is a
flash9/pulseaudio glue lib available on the internet, and there has been
quite a few posts about that (just take a look at the archives
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=ltsp-discuss&m=116408497007046&w=2 ).
Then go to http://pulseaudio.revolutionlinux.com/PulseAudio . There you
can find a source package (quite easy to compile, just need the correct
devel libs). There is also a deb package available though.

Cheers,

Denis
