If you set up a VPN between networks and get terminals that boots from CF with
VNC sessions, you could use a fanless terminal to connect remotely. This may
not be practical with your application, but it could work.
Don't forget you can use NX from the LTSP server on your end to establish a
remote session (if the proper port forwarding is performed and freenx is
installed).
Only you can judge what is suitable for your situation.
