There are a couple of reasons for slow performance in a thin client application, but you'll need to run at least a basic performance measurement utility. I mentioned xosview before, because it is small, launches quickly, and provides almost all the information you will need in about a 200x200 box. A google search indicates that SuSe 9.1 has this package available; launch it on the server with the options I provided earlier in the thread (place the window next to Firefox while running the XUL app). Otherwise, try to find a utility or utilities that show CPU usage on the server, memory usage on the server, disk activity on the server, and total ethernet traffic on the server.
Can you run the application with a monitor utility and report back what you see? -Todd ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
