On a terminal, OpenOffice.org would not start. I turned it off and ran "killall -u learn070" to kill all the user's processes. However, the following processes remain. How do I prevent this problem? Or fix it now (without rebooting the server)?
I recently upgraded the server to Fedora Core 6, and the server runs FUSE 2.6.3-2 and LTSP 4.2u4. The /home directory is on NFS v3. learn070 3806 1 0 Feb26 ? 00:00:05 /etc/openoffice.org-2.1/program/soffice.bin -writer file:///mnt/localdev/learn070/My_Floppy/al's%20book%20report.odt learn070 9796 1 0 Feb25 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/ltspfs nar070.aslan.srm:/tmp/drives/My_Floppy /mnt/localdev/learn070/My_Floppy learn070 11059 1 0 Feb25 ? 00:00:02 nautilus --no-default-window --sm-client-id default3 learn070 24894 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 25001 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 25149 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon learn070 25758 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 25895 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon learn070 26172 1 0 11:42 ? 00:00:00 strace -p 3806 learn070 26266 1 0 11:42 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 26400 1 0 11:42 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon learn070 26487 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 26640 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon learn070 26686 1 0 11:43 ? 00:00:00 bash learn070 28047 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 28196 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon learn070 28453 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /usr/sbin/lbus_event_handler.sh removeall learn070 28590 1 0 Feb27 ? 00:00:00 /usr/libexec/gnome-vfs-daemon Andrew ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
