Hi!

Im making some tests with LTSP and they are being very satisfatory but Im having problem when I try to use a Webcam or a PenDrive or Skype on the clients... and those are function that must be available to the clients...
Anybody could give-me a hint on that ?

What LTSP you use? 4.2 or 5.0
What Distro? It counts since 4.2 has different issues for Local Devices/Storages

1 - PenDrive works flawless if setup LTSP correctly. Read wiki of LTSP that you will find all issues. Even for Suse that is a litle jerk.

2 - Skype (What Version?)r, whats matter is sound support. I could not tell all issues if I down know what version of LTSP you are using. In Ubuntu LTSP 5, sound works very well. In any way, you will got less problems if you use Skype Beta for Linux and Alsa Support in LTSP. Remember that setup/drivers for sound must be in the chroot environment.

3. - WebCam: Must be supported for Linux in first place, and the driver must be in chroot also. I guess that could work, but I never need, than I never test.
