Ya, I use r-kiosk for firefox on my card catalogs BUT that takes away the 
address bar.

I use KDE desktop and strip it down and lock it with Kiosk Admin Tool and have 
only one icon on the desktop (firefox). They can't do anything to the system, 
no menu bar, no context menu, no nothing, can't even logoff. Works great! I'm 
happy with it.
