yes there seem to be the answer, I just do not understand it :-(
I'd guess it is something about the hostname and the connect at port 
9202. I have checked the hostname and its settings - these seem to be 
ok. 

According to /etc/services this is what is setup, 
wap-wsp-s       9202/udp    # WAP secure connectionless session service
wap-wsp-s       9202/tcp    # WAP secure connectionless session service

The terminal is connected via a wlan-brigde to the network. But the 
connection seems to be ok, atleast I can start ltsp and get a login at 
the kdm - so what is the error message: "Couldn't establish a 
connection to :9202: IO::Socket::INET: Bad hostname ':9202'"

Any idea?
