Hi; I have few ebox-2300 thin clients running. They are using SIS550 graphic chip. I have downloaded latest free driver from Thomas Winischofer site and the driver loads fine. However, in xorg.log there are still some messages that the premium, non free driver has some extra features for the ICOP hardware that I'm using. I had contacted Thomas for the premium driver (using his instructions) but there is no reply. From what I could find out googling this is not uncommon. So I have 2 questions really.
Has anybody used the premium driver on ebox-2300 (or the other brand names that use the same hardware like MicroClient Jr etc...) and if yes, is there a noticeable diff in performance ? Can anybody suggest a way to communicate with Thomas and gain his attention ? Contribution to his considerable efforts is not an issue.
