Hi Gideon, > Ah... unfortunately, no, I don't know of one for ppc. Any way you > could use OSS drivers? > for ppc architecture, I would advise you to go for the ltsp5 way. It might be a little bit harder, but it is worth the effort. With a little extra time and some experience similar to the one you can get going through an LFS (linux from scratch), it is not so hard to build a client tree from your favorite distro (I rebuild mine from a mandriva 2007.1 tree). It is very confortable to just go CTRL-ALT-F2, switch the nfsroot to rw, and just go urpmi new package around (synchronous audio throught pulse is a big plus!).
Cheers, Denis PS : if you don't think you'll have time tweaking a ltsp tree with your favorite ppc distro, I think there is a ubuntu-ppc client tree available somewhere. > -G > > On Fri, 2007-09-21 at 09:31 -0700, Craig White wrote: > >> Thanks Gideon but I am talking about ppc and it clearly was an i386 >> build.
