Likely to be a red herring, but what worked for me with a Wyse 9235LE which is a NSC Geode CX5530 [Kahlua] was: SMODULE_01 = "snd-sb16 isapnp=0 irq=5 dma8=0 dma16=5" It took me days to work this out and then we decided that the performance was too slow.
