OK, I tried this root=/dev/nfs in pxeboot.cfg/default The client boots up to the point of giving a login console in tty1, saying:
Ubuntu 7.10 ltsp tty1 ltsp login: It does the same, even if I add SCREEN_07=startx in /tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf So X do not start. The console is useless; who is supposed to login and how? There are now two questions. What can be wrong with nbd service? How to debug? And why it does not startx ?
