Good-o. For the record, I've been running ltsp since Ubuntu 7.04 and
I've continued using the root path since I didn't know any better (my
router is serving dhcp, though it was not always so) . So at least in
my case, the root path option hasn't messed anything up. Now I have to
try it without.
