Hi, I had the same problem: whatever I wrote in lts.conf, it was ignored by the client. I use LTSP5 on Ubuntu 8.04 Server. The problem was: the client asked for lts.conf from wrong directory. Try to sniff (wireshark, etc.) the network to get sure, if it is not your problem too.
