Re previous post subject:Halts after initrd Loads
This is strange, using a wireless AP in client mode (and fixed IP) plugged in
to the ethernet
socket my thin client finds the PXE server. installs vmlinuz and initrd.img and
then stalls with
the following line;
IP-config: eth0, hardware address **********, mtu 1500 DHCP RARP
If at this point I unplug the wifi Access Point and plug in an ethernet cable
to connect to my
router (and network) the remained of Linux installs and I am then able to log
in.
I am then able to unplug the ethernet cable and replug in my wifi access point
and continue
working on my thin client.
I know the problems associated with pxe servers and wifi cards but my Access
Point is in
client mode and does find the pxelinux.0 file.
What is the next step after the IP-config line shown above.
