Hi guys, it is maybe a bit OffTopic, but it just came into my mind that I have somekind of similar problem running ANSYS and softawre with such kind of GUI through remote X. I faced the problem first after setting up our LTSP environment: some applications of such kind are crashing with segfault or error messages referring to graphical drivers(?). On the other hand they run smoothly in a VNC window.... (one drawback of such usage is that the fonts are too small and almost unreadable in most of tha cases) (W.r.t ANSYS I tried this also running it locally (no problem) and through an X -query session to a remote server (similar error messages as above) and in a VNC session on the remote server (no problem, again)) So if somebody can give me hint how I can solve this issue it would be appreciated very much... :-) (I send error messages if needed) Regards, Zsolt PS: We can run Maple V9, Mathematica 4, Matlab R12 without problem but no luck with ANSYS, or ADAMS... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and Deploy Rich Internet Apps outside the browser with Adobe(R)AIR(TM) software.
