This is how I fixed the mouse cursor problem. There may be a better way,
but this worked.
Edit lts.conf to fix Missing mouse cursor
Open terminal
Open lts.conf:
nano /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf
Add the following line under default:
XSERVER = vesa
Save file and exit
reboot terminal
