Dear Peter, lts.conf is /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf. This is the correct place in Ubuntu. Well, is there a way to verify the squashfs filesystem? I can mount it and the client seems to do so also. Here's the server's syslog while the client boots: Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPDISCOVER(eth0) 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPOFFER(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPDISCOVER(eth0) 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPOFFER(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPDISCOVER(eth0) 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:33 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPOFFER(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:36 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPREQUEST(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:36 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPACK(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d irrigation 192.168.55.3 Aug 12 16:57:37 dawn-desktop in.tftpd[22898]: tftp: client does not accept options Aug 12 16:57:55 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPDISCOVER(eth0) 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:55 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPOFFER(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:55 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPREQUEST(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:55 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPACK(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d irrigation 192.168.55.3 Aug 12 16:57:56 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPREQUEST(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d Aug 12 16:57:56 dawn-desktop dnsmasq[2482]: DHCPACK(eth0) 192.168.55.2 00:02:1b:f4:46:0d irrigation 192.168.55.3 Aug 12 16:57:56 dawn-desktop nbdrootd[22914]: connect from 192.168.55.2 (192.168.55.2) Aug 12 16:57:56 dawn-desktop nbd_server[22915]: connect from 192.168.55.2, assigned file is /opt/ltsp/images/i386.img Aug 12 16:57:56 dawn-desktop nbd_server[22915]: Size of exported file/device is 194281472 Aug 12 16:58:24 dawn-desktop nbd_server[22915]: Disconnect request received.
