Hey John,

I've personally set up network bonding on 7 LTSP servers (2x 1Gbit/sec
each) running Ubuntu 8.04. If you choose the right bonding "mode" you
don't need a special switch at all (I used mode=0 myself, which is not
only pretty easy to set up, but it provides fault tolerance *and* load
balancing).

This is the HOWTO I used - very well made and easy to follow. Though it
says it's for Ubuntu 6.10 it should work fine for others (and probably
other distros too).
