I believe Ezequiel is referring to the old LTSP4 "ltspinfo" command that queried an ltspinfod daemon running on the client for info and allowed for remote shutdown/reboot of the client.
That tool was dropped from LTSP5 because it was a huge security hole. The UbuntuWiki has some ways to manually introduce similar behavior with ssh key exchange and scripting that are arguably (or perhaps relatively) more secure. -Gadi On Wed, 2010-04-28 at 17:25 +0200, Xavier Brochard wrote: > Le mercredi 28 avril 2010 15:45:25, Ezequiel Coser a écrit : > > Ltsp5 installed on ubuntu 8.04, but I found that I have not found the > > command ltspinfo. > > > > Is /ltspinfo/ part of /LTSP5? > > > > > > /How can I get this command? > > The command is ltsp-info, NOT ltspinfo > it is not available for ubuntu 8.04 > > You can see what is available for your version using the search tool at the > bottom of http://packages.ubuntu.com/ > > ltsp-info is a shell script, I've added it as attchment > > > Xavier > xav...@alternatif.org - 09 54 06 16 26 > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > _____________________________________________________________________ > Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
