Here's the message I get from the ltsp when I try to log in directly. Maybe it will help.

Then after about 5-10 seconds it goes back to the login screen. No errors are displayed indicating that a user ID or password has been entered incorrectly. When I try logging in directly on the server console I get a message that I have been logged in for less than 10 seconds and that if I didn't intentionally log off it may be an issue of disk space, but I have 400gb free on my LTSP raid. I am able to log in to the server from the console using failsafe GNOME session. One thing that may or may not be important is that some users are able to log in via thin client, but it seems that only a certain number can, and the computers that have the edubuntu OS installed locally but, in windows terms, have a roaming profile are able to log in fine. Any help on this would be VERY VERY much appreciated.
