If that doesn't work, for me I had forgot to turn the sound on for Terminal 
Services.

First make sure the 'Windows Audio service' is on.

Then go to 'Terminal Services Configuration'
Double Click RDP-TCP
Clear the Audio Mapping check box under the 'Client Settings' Tab.
