I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and I'm having trouble mounting a Samsung
Galaxy S2 under a thin client.

I can however mount a Motorola Atrix & HTC Desire and many memory sticks
with no problems.

Here is the relevant lines from my lts.conf file

I think the USB modules ehci-hcd & ohci-hcd are incorrect. I have tried
without these two modules and with, rebooting the thin client in
between. Both times I cannot see the phone.

I can mount the phone on the server however so that proves that the
phone is mounting under Linux and that the settings on the phone are
correct.
