Hi It's the first time i'm installing an LTSP server, so tried different ways: Ubuntu, Ubuntu alternate and Edubuntu. The installation with Edubuntu seems to be very comfortable but I ended in the same problem you discribe. I followed a hint from Oct 2010 ?! (http://www.mail-archive.com/ltsp-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net/msg38965.html) to reinstall /opt/ltsp/i386 with local settings. It works, but is not what I think about a comfortable installation. I think it is easier to use Ubuntu and install the edubuntu-epoptes stuff from software-center. Heinz Stucki --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
